As a designer at Preissless Design, Kate knows there’s never really a “typical” day—from meeting with clients on-site to searching through fabric swatches for the perfect finishing detail. Her favorite part of the job is creating spaces that feel deeply personal, thoughtfully reflecting how each client lives and wants their home to feel. Her personal style is best described as “well-traveled coastal grandma,” blending relaxed coastal elements, timeless pieces, and a thoughtful mix of old and new. Her dream project would be a charming historic home in a small coastal town, full of character and stories to tell.
Guided by a design philosophy that is timeless, storied, and colorful, one of her favorite Preissless Design projects was transforming a spec house into a home that truly reflected its owners through beautiful furnishings, custom bookshelves, and personal details. What she loves most about the Preissless Design team is their shared commitment to excellence and making every client feel heard, understood, and truly at home.
